The space In this comfortable tiny house, you can enjoy an atmospheric and unique stay: ・the private space of a vacation home ・The service of a bed and breakfast ・The relaxation of the outdoors Breakfast with fresh local produce is included on the first morning for stays longer than 3 nights. It will be delivered to your home. On other days, breakfast is available from €8 per person. This cozy guesthouse is located in our rural garden on a quiet green lane. The spacious backyard borders a dike with little traffic. Via the dike stairs, you can reach the outer dike nature reserve with water birds, beavers and an inland lake. The nature reserve borders the river Lek, where you can enjoy beautiful views and recreational sandy beaches. Our region is ideal for a longer stay. This way you can optimally enjoy the nature, tranquility and the many recreational opportunities in the area. In addition, you can also easily visit cities such as Utrecht, Gouda and Rotterdam, all of which are within a short travel time. Accommodation layout: ・Bedroom with double bed and single loft bed ・Bathroom: walk-in shower, sink, toilet ・Living room with kitchenette ・outdoor kitchen ・Private terrace overlooking the garden ・Private lockable storage room with 2 bicycles The double bed (160x200) has a very comfortable box spring mattress and is made with fresh, crisp bed linen that feels pleasant. The single bed (80x200) is a comfortable loft bed. This is located on a small loft in the ridge of the bedroom. The loft has no standing height and is accessible via a narrow and steep miller's staircase. Baby bed (travel cot) can be prepared for you with bed linen. I would like to hear this in advance when booking. Without bed linen, this is free. With bed linen, it costs €15 once per stay. The kitchenette (inside) is equipped with modern appliances and luxury products for a comfortable stay: ・Fridge with freezer compartment ・Microwave ・Toaster, egg cooker, hand blender ・Nespresso, milk frother and kettle ・Fine selection of quality coffee and tea The outdoor kitchen is also fully equipped and offers everything you need for your favorite meals: ・cozy dining table ・2 burner hob ・Steamer ・Air fryer, oven, grill ・Weber barbecue (+briquettes, quick starter) The outdoor kitchen is not only a nice place to cook outdoors, but also to relax. There is a comfortable bench with soft pillows, and the patio heater provides extra warmth on cooler evenings. At the garden fireplace, you can roast marshmallows or make popcorn together in the special popcorn pan. Enjoy the outdoor kitchen all year round with these cozy outdoor amenities: ・Popcorn pan (for BBQ or garden fireplace) ・Gourmet pan/table top grill/raclette ・Crêpe maker ・Dutch poffertjes pan (Dutch mini pancakes) ・Oliebollen pan (sweet fritters) Please note: Cooking, baking and grilling can only be done in the outdoor kitchen, due to stubborn baking odors. You have your own lockable shed. This offers space for bicycles, baby stroller and water sports equipment. There is a charging point for e-bikes. Free to use: 2 old Dutch bikes with crate in front. A men's and women's model. The bikes have a back pedal brake (no handbrake). Guest access Your guest house, outdoor kitchen and lockable storage room are completely for your own use. There are no other guests at the accommodation. Your terrace is not enclosed or fenced off from the surrounding garden (approximately 1,000 m2). This surrounding garden is freely accessible to you and you share it with residents. Your own terrace and the outdoor kitchen with covered seating area is of course only for yourself. Through the dike staircase in our backyard, you have direct access to a small but extensive outdoor dike nature reserve. On the river bank, there are sandy beaches where you can relax. These are publicly accessible. Washing machine and dryer are in a shared laundry room in our house. Free to use and book in advance. A dryer and drying rack are also provided. Free parking is available on the driveway of our front yard. There is enough space for a car, camper, motorcycle, trailer. Other things to note ・Tourist tax is included in the price. ・Cooking, fire, incense, home perfumes and smoking are not allowed indoors. ・Pets are not allowed, the interior is allergen-free. ・For tall people: the beds are 2 meters long. The ceiling of the walk-in shower is 2 meters high. Security: ・The single bed (high sleeper) is accessed by a steep miller's staircase. The loft where the single bed is located functions as a high sleeper, you cannot stand upright there. ・The loft/high sleeper has no lockable stair gate and is therefore not suitable for small children. No playing or climbing is allowed in the loft. We can remove the wooden access stairs for you on request. ・ In the garden, there are steps, a pond and a ditch. The garden does not have a complete fence.
