The space The granary is located in the village of Söderby, and staying here is an experience in itself. Many guests have described it as "like camping – but in comfortable beds," as the sounds of nature and the patter of rain can be clearly heard inside. The building is not airtight but made from old hand-hewn logs. Guest access Guests have access to one room in the granary, and to shared facilities including a kitchen, toilet, shower, and a dining/lounge area. These shared spaces are also used by guests staying in another granary and pets are not allowed in the kitchen. A wood-heated sauna can be booked upon arrival for an extra fee, and guests heat it themselves. In the granary’s yard, there are outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. Bicycles are available for rent upon request for an additional fee. During your stay Our family of five live next to the granary and we are glad to help you if you need us. Other things to note The granary has no fixed heating, so we’re at the mercy of the Finnish summer. However, there are blankets, quilts, and wool socks available for extra warmth. The toilet, shower, and kitchen are located in a separate building about 50 meters from the granary.
