OLD PUMP STUDIO UPSTAIRS

The space Stara Pompka is a century-old red brick building restored in June 2019, located on a plot of over half a hectare. One of the few relics of the tsarist railway in the area. The pond visible in the photos was a source of water for steam locomotives stopping at a station about 500 m away - currently stocked with fish. We offer one of the two apartments located in the cottage - a studio located on the first floor of the building. The apartment downstairs can be rented separately or as a whole cottage (for an extra fee). Both apartments are connected by a common staircase. The upstairs studio consists of a large room with a large double bed and a sofa bed; a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The apartment is about 40 sq meters. Other things to note There is peace and quiet around, the border of the plot is the Nurzec river, which can be crossed in the summer with bare feet. The river is connected by a causeway to a pond inhabited by wild ducks, tame frogs and fish - the fish are different - an otter lives in Nurzec. After dark, roe deer and hares visit the Pump. Within 500 m from Pompka, there are two well-stocked self-service stores open until late evening, also on Sundays. If you do not feel like cooking and want to taste the local specialties of Podlasie cuisine, you can order catering from local housewives. The area is full of various attractions: from charming forests rich in mushrooms and berries with picturesque cycling routes through the swimming area on the Lagoon in Repczyce to the Aquapark, Rope Park and ecological cultivation of herbs within an hour's drive. If you want to stay longer and/or already have positive feedback from other Airbnb hosts, we invite you to negotiate the price.
