Enjoy a sunset dinner & live music at one of the many wineries – or relax on one of the two screened-in porches & clear your mind. No other place like it in Augusta! The space LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This lovely farmhouse is situated just steps from the Katy Trail -- walk or bike in and out!! Surrounded by numerous wineries and historic treasures in the Augusta/Defiance area. The farmhouse has been thoughtfully restored and offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, mud room, adorable kitchen, dining room, reading nook, sitting/TV room, two screened in porches -- and more charm than you can imagine! Wood floors throughout, beam ceilings in lower level, and plenty of room to roam and connect with nature. KITCHEN - fully equipped kitchen offers full-sized appliances, Keurig coffee maker (selection of K-pods provided), French press (for those who want to bring their own coffee), toaster, blender, crock pot, microwave, and all the basics for cooking. (Several guests have said this is the best equipped kitchen of any Airbnb they've booked.) BEDROOMS - furnished with new and moderately firm queen mattresses and high quality linens (crisp sheets in the summer & flannel sheets in cold weather). Plenty of space to unpack and make yourself at home. BATHROOMS - downstairs you'll find one half bath & one full bath with a spacious shower (no tub). Upstairs has a full bath with shower & tub. Cheers and safe travels! Guest access The house is offered in its entirety to one guest/group at a time. The basement and all outbuildings are off-limits to guests. Plenty of private parking. Other things to note We are located in a quiet rural setting, without immediate access to the conveniences many are used to. While Augusta, which is 1 mile away via the trail or 2 by car, has a couple of restaurants, and the wineries offer food selections, you may want to bring food for the meals you plan to enjoy at the farmhouse. The closest grocery stores is 15-20 minutes away in Washington, MO.
