Chez Charlie is a former vintner house (160 m2), located in a quiet village lying on the edge of a striking hillside 11 kilometres (just under 7.5 miles) away from Beaune. Saint Romain is 11 kilometres (just under 7.5 miles) from Beaune, 6 kilometers (just over 3.5 miles) from Meursault and 14 kilometres (just over 8.5 miles) from the A6 motorway, thus placing it on the ‘Route des grand Crues‘ of the Côte D’Or, perfect for wine-lovers! There is a further bathroom on the top floor with a separate WC, which is shared between the two bedrooms on this floor. The heart of the house is the sunny kitchen (36m2) with its patio doors opening onto the garden and the view of the surrounding hills and vines. The kitchen has a cooking island in the centre of it as well as a large, oak dining table, making it the perfect place to prepare and enjoy relaxed dinners with friends and family. There is a living room and reading area on the top floor with a TV, DVD player. ‘Chez Charlie‘ has a garden with different types of trees as well as various rose and lavender bushes. There is another garden, approximately 25 meters from the house, which provides a further outdoor, private space to retreat to. There are plenty of opportunities to go on long walks in the surrounding countryside, which provide beautiful views of the hills and villages. These are particularly recommended in the tourist office of Beaune for people seeking to visit an attractive village in the vicinity. You find a private parking place in front of the house or in a nearby barn. All your shopping needs and local amenities can be conveniently found in Beaune and Meursault, just a short car-drive away.
