The village center has all the amenities; restaurants, shopping, bars, museums as well as the main train station, and is reachable by electric taxi, bus or on foot in 10 to 30 minutes. Arrival: By car: Zermatt is not directly accessible by car. These must be parked in Täsch in the Terminal (recommended) or already in Visp Täsch is reachable from Visp in approx. 40 minutes by car It is advisable to park the car in Täsch, from where an efficient train system is available to get to Zermatt (every 20 minutes, duration approx. 15 minutes) From Zermatt train station: take the taxi to the Gamma house, Wichjeweg 29 (approx. 25.-) By train Trains from Lausanne or Bern to Visp.
