Sunnertorpa Recreation + Nature for the Whole Family

Fantastically beautiful and family-friendly cottage near Annerstad, about 28 km southwest of Ljungby. The house was renovated in early 2019 and completely newly furnished. On 135 m², 8 people + 1 toddler in 4 bedrooms will find enough space. The house is located on a 7800 m² natural property, of which the area around the house is fenced, as dogs are also welcome. Lake Mäen is only 800 m away as the crow flies. Fishing, swimming (sandy beach), boat rental all on site. The space Distribution: In total there are 4 bedrooms with one double bed each as well as an additional baby bed in one bedroom. 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor, the fourth on the upper floor. All bedrooms have closets or dressers. The brand new mattresses have protective covers that are washed after each visit. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen is centrally located in the house. A large dining table offers 10 people enough space for nice delicacies or just a cozy get-together. The kitchen is of course equipped with all dishes, plates, cups and more. An induction hob, hood, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, hand mixer and various small helpers are available. From the kitchen you can access 2 living rooms as well as the rear entrance. The main living room with TV (German channels, DVD player), 2 large leather sofas, as well as a beautiful fireplace (firewood included) invites you to spend pleasant evenings. The smaller living room with a cozy armchair and a cozy couch is ideal as a reading room or play corner for the little ones, if the weather is not so great. Radio/CD is also available here. From here you can also reach the upper floor, where one of the bedrooms is located as well as an additional guest toilet with sink. The bathroom is also modern and practical. In addition to a toilet, sink and mirror cabinet, there is also a spacious shower. A hair dryer is of course provided. In the basement, in addition to the heating room (brand new air-water heat pump), there is also the utility room with a washing machine and dryer, clothes rack and a large table. Likewise, a small chamber with vacuum cleaner, cleaning and cleaning utensils, should something go wrong. The house has 2 front doors (front and back), both of which can of course be used. In Sweden, for whatever reason, you usually use the back entrance. So we also adapted it and the actual entrance is at the rear. The garden directly around the house (about 600 m²) is fenced. Here there are 4 small gates to leave the area and explore the rest of the property. The total size of the property is 7,800 m², a natural property with some pines and of course birches. Furthermore, there is a double garage, in which all garden tools and garden furniture, bicycles and the storage for the photovoltaic system are accommodated. The area in front and next to it offers generous space for 4 cars. Of course, a playhouse for the little guests is also a must. Garden furniture (table + chairs) for 8 people is also housed in the garage and is available to all. A sun lounger for sun worshipers, a large grill and a fire pit are also there. In addition, we have 2 bicycles (1x men's MTB, 1x women's trekking bike) with which the surroundings can also be explored. At the main entrance at the back of the house, we created a wooden terrace of about 30 square meters in spring 2024. Partly covered, you can sit outside and enjoy the tranquility even in bad weather. Guest access All areas in the house and on the property are accessible. The only exception is a room on the upper floor where private items are stored, such as work clothes, etc. Other things to note Bed covers and towels must be brought along. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this on site as we do not live in Sweden ourselves. The covers on the mattresses are changed and washed after each stay by our good fairy. During the winter months from November to March, electricity consumption must be calculated separately. Of course, this only applies to electricity purchased from the grid. Electricity from the photovoltaic system is included in the price.
