Charming Traditional Gite in heart of Normandie

Escape to La Cavée, a spacious countryside retreat in the heart of Normandy. Ideal for family gatherings and friends, it offers five comfortable bedrooms sleeping up to 13 guests. Dogs are warmly welcomed but must not be left unattended. The space The attractive south-facing garden features a private, enclosed area with a barbecue, outdoor dining table and seating for all guests. An additional table and benches in the main garden provide the perfect spot to relax and enjoy long summer afternoons and evenings. Dogs are very welcome and have access to a secure exercise field, but must not be left unattended at any time. A local vet is nearby should the need arise. Children can enjoy the play area, complete with swings and outdoor games, while adults and families alike can make use of the traditional boules court. Beyond the enclosed garden, guests are welcome to explore the extensive grounds, which include a large meadow, colourful flower gardens and plenty of open space to relax and unwind. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire gîte, together with the private garden and extensive surrounding grounds. Other things to note La Cavée is a charming 200-year-old Normandy farmhouse with beautiful original stone walls, over 3 feet thick in places. These help keep the house naturally cool during the summer, while modern wall-mounted electric radiators provide warmth throughout the cooler months. Additional portable heaters are also available to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable stay.
