Enjoy your stay in your very own private basement suite with private entrance at the “Woodland Hide-Away”. This space is very unique, cozy yet spacious and one of a kind. It offers everything you will need and more to have a comfortable stay. Looking forward to your stay. The space This unique private basement suite is very cozy yet very spacious. The space is family friendly with everything you will need for your little(s). It offers large windows that allow natural sunlight with a glimpse of the Rocky mountains. Open concept kitchen, comfortable lounging area, two private rooms, three piece bathroom, washer/dryer and driveway parking. You will be educated with Canadian wildlife found around the suite. From bears & wolves to raccoons & fish. Yes, all are real and we’re graciously donated. *please note. There are stairs leading down into the suite* The lounging area is equipped with a 55" smart TV with Netflix. (Sorry no cable) or you can kick it “old school” and choose a DVD from the large collection. Two comfy couches and a vintage arcade game. (Which all my guests rave about). There's a shelf of board games, colouring books, puzzles, cards, books & broachers. The open concept kitchen is large and fully equipped with everything you will need. You will also find a variety of teas, coffee, condiments and a light snack, Free of charge. We are avid recyclers and a bin can be found under the sink. The 3 piece bathroom offers a large soaker tub, towels, hair dryer & Shampoo/Conditioner which will all be provided. For the forgetful- You will find a basket of toiletries including; Shampoo/conditioner, feminine products, ear plugs, razor, bandaids ect. Please feel free to take with you. "The Bear Cave" (bedroom #1) is a large room with a comfy queen size log bed, soft sheets, black out curtains, amore & dresser to store your things. There is also a futon for an extra guest. "The Wolf Den" (bedroom #2) is a cozy room with a double bed and memory foam mattress. Dresser to store your things. The walk in closet has a play area full of books and toys for the littles. There is also a pack n play, blankets, high chair & change table. There is a full size washer & dryer. Soap & fabric softener will be provided free of charge. *Please note there is a bear & wolf hide in the bedrooms, As these might catch you by surprise. You are allowed to touch but please be gentle.* Guest access You will have your own private entrance at the side of the house. There is a lock box and the code will be given to you the day before arrival. The right side of the driveway is for guests only. There is also street parking available. *Please Note- DO NOT use the front door or even knock on it. This is a separate home. Other things to note Please remember I do not offer breakfast but I will be happy point you in the right direction. I offer a light snack and oatmeal for a quick hangry fix. There is a coffee shop (Old Grind) & Tim Horton’s less than a 3 min walk away. Quite time 10pm-7am There are stairs leading down into the suite. The max people to stay is 5 adults, please do not ask if more can be accommodated. Wifi is available, login and password will be given at check in and is available downstairs. Again, I do live up stairs so the typical notices can be heard from above. But we are very mindful when we have guests. In the summer we are typically away.
