Iconic Providence Beach House on Linden Avenue

The Providence Beach House is like nothing else in Carpinteria, the world's safest beach town. Originally built in 1876, this historic home is completely renovated, updated, and outfitted with all the best for you to feel at once a world away and completely at home. We hope after a stay, you’ll agree there is no more timeless or relaxing place for friends and family. The space A few notes to help you plan your new favorite vacation: The main floor hosts two bathrooms, one accessed off the living area and the second en suite to the primary bedroom also located on the first floor. This bedroom offers a queen bed, wardrobe, and attached full-sized washer-dryer in an attached closet. The first floor custom bathroom has a shared privacy glass shower wall from the master to the guest bathroom with rain shower heads. DESIGN NOTE: bathroom glass in both sliding doors to the bedroom and living areas, respectively, is obscured but not blackout glass. We always want to be sure our guests are aware of this design choice. :) Upstairs, one bedroom has one queen, one has two queens, and the third has a twin daybed that pulls out to a king mattress. The home is well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each room has a phone charging station, white noise machine, and blackout shades. Settle in with board games, yard games, Samsung Frame smart TV for use with your streaming platform of choice, Sonos speaker system, and of course 100mbps minimum WiFi. The main floor gas fireplace is yours to use for cool beach mornings and evenings. The patio offers a large outdoor gathering area with plenty of seating, large dining table, gas fire ring, custom gas grill, and large outdoor dining table. The enclosed patio is perfect after returning from the beach or bike ride with custom copper rain head shower. Beach cruisers, boogie boards, beach toys, coolers, and umbrellas are provided for your beach fun. We fell in love with this truly one-in-a-million property right in the middle of Carp's downtown district – walk out the front gate and look down at the beach an easy few blocks’ walk. Grab groceries across the street, settle in, and watch the comings and goings from the front porch as you make memories that last a lifetime. We are so thrilled we get to share it with you! Minimum renter age is 25, to be verified by ID. Firm and enforced maximum number of guests on property, including infants and children, is 8 persons. Guest access Whole house and double corner lot. Other things to note 15% Carpinteria Transient Occupancy Tax is collected in addition to your nightly rate. The total cost is shown on the platform. This property has a 3-night minimum booking. Holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Avocado Festival, and Thanksgiving have a 4-night minimum, and Christmas and New Years holiday dates have a 5-night minimum stay The City of Carpinteria wants to make sure you know that we have off-street parking spaces for your use. We expect all guests to abide by both sound ordinances and good old fashioned neighborly kindness. We want you to make each Providence Beach House experience your own, but it is a treasured and meticulously maintained historic property. Absolutely no parties or loud noise after 10pm per city ordinance: we love our neighbors! We are happy to refresh the house after your departure to make it as spotless as when you arrived, but please treat this retreat as the treasure it is. Refuse, recycle, and yard waste containers are provided for your use next to parking along the back picket fence. Absolutely no pets, emotional support animals, smoking or vaping of any kind, or substance use are allowed on the property. Guests will be charged the full cost of professional smoke or pet dander removal, as well as forfeit the balance of their stay.
