This is the perfect holiday home for families wanting to be by the sea and to spend holidays together. We recently completely refurbished our beautiful home. The house is a traditional Victorian villa and was built in 1890 with nearly all of the original features including a black marble fireplace, coving and stained glass windows. We have restored the house back to its former glory as well as building a huge open plan (100m2), VERY high spec modern kitchen extension WITH ALL THE MOD CONS including: 2 DISHWASHERS, RANGE COOKER 2 full size ovens, grill and 6 gas hobs, Top of the range BOSCH/ PANASONIC appliances, Utility room with 2 WASHING MACHINES & 2 DRYERS, WINE FRIDGE, COFFEE MACHINE WITH PODS, NUTIRBULLET, BREAD MAKER, JUICER, SMOOTHIE MAKER, MAGI MIX, American fridge/freezer with ice maker and filtered cold water, Granite worktops, 47 inch SMART 3D HD TV with integrated surround sound system & super fast WIFI, Underfloor heating, Log burner, Huge island that seats 6, dining table for 12 and extra seating if required, Work/desk area. The whole kitchen has underfloor heating with radiators and a large wood burner to keep it really cosy in the colder months. The beds have memory foam mattresses so are very comfortable. There are 8m of bi-folding doors that open onto the large deck so you can open them all up to feel like you're outside even when you're in the kitchen. The Victorian house is decorated in a more traditional style with a baby grand piano, and antique furniture. The modern kitchen extension is more contemporary with modern art and furniture. There are 3 reception rooms including a drawing room for the adults to relax in and a separate playroom with loads of DVDs and toys for the kids. There is also an original Victorian conservatory now converted to a gym and a music room with baby grand piano. Bedrooms: There are 3 king size double beds, 1 queen size double and 3 twin rooms (1 with a bunk bed) and an extra single bed as well as a cot for babies (so the house sleeps 16 + child/ baby). Bathrooms: There are 4 bathrooms. They are all new and have a mixture of large walk in showers & baths and all have underfloor heating and heated towel rails. There is a high pressure water system and large water tank to cater for lots of people staying. The 2 ensuite bathrooms were recently added. There are also 2 separate WCs. Garden: We have a lovely secluded back garden for children to play on the grass lawn or for the adults to relax on the large deck. The garden is mainly grass lawn and there are 2 football goals and lots of other sporting equipment to play with such as tennis rackets and net, bikes, scooters & boogie boards. There is also a Wendy house with electric lighting for the kids to enjoy. There is a large 6 burner gas OUTBACK BBQ undercover for you to use as well. There is parking on the drive for up to 4 or 5 cars and free parking on the street, We have a large garage with several adults' and 5 kids' bikes, scooters etc. so if you fancy a bike trip there are many places locally you can visit. Angmering (our nearest station) is 1.5 hours on a direct train from central London (Clapham Junction or Victoria Station) so it's very easy to go for the day and we frequently do to see friends and family. We are also only 45 mins from London's Gatwick Airport and there is also a direct train to Gatwick from Angmering or another nearby station, Ford. We are 1 hour from Southampton. This is one of the best equipped houses you could hope to rent. Guest access You have sole access to the house and garden. The house has 3 reception rooms & a gym in the conservatory, 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs, huge kitchen, garage, hallway. Parking for 4/5 cars on drive and unrestricted on street parking if required. Enclosed back garden with gates and front drive with sliding metal gate. Other things to note Smoking is NOT permitted in the house. No hens or stags dos or parties. This is a family home and there will be personal possessions left in the house such as clothes. On the plus side, it is much better equipped than most rental properties or second homes. No late night parties. Quiet hours from 11pm- 8am.
