The Shearing Shed is perched on the hillside of a working farm. A modern Glamping Pod complete with underfloor heating, mains electricity and plumbed-in facilities plus stunning views overlooking Underbarrow and further to Scout Scar. A new addition is an outside Wood-fired Kirami Hot Tub and a Lazy Jane fire pit. Situated within the Lake District National Park, High Gregg Hall Farm in Underbarrow is just a 15-minute drive from Windermere and 10-minutes from Kendal. The space The 1-bedroom Glamping Pod is a stunning option for a relaxing or perhaps a romantic getaway from the busy town or city life. After a day out exploring the Lake District of walking on the fells, return to relax on the patio with a glass of wine, or perhaps a BBQ an outside and relax in the Wood-fired Kirami Hot Tub. The Shearing Shed has been expertly-built to provide high-quality furnishings and fittings that will provide for a fantastic stay. Accommodation Summary Double Bed with fabulously comfy pillows, shelf-storage and USB sockets for charging devices. Sitting area with L-shaped sofa, one of which lifts for additional storage, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with FreeSat. Dining area for two. Kitchen area with, Belfast-sink and mains water, 2-ring induction hob, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine, kettle, toaster and a fridge with freezer compartment. Bathroom with basin and vanity cupboards, toilet, heated towel rail and a shower cubicle. Guest access The Pod is situated on a working dairy farm. Guests have exclusive use of the Pod and Hot tub, but access to the dairy or farmlands is not permitted without being escorted by the Farmer, so please do speak to them if you would like to have a tour. Other things to note The rental price includes bed linen, towels and robes as well a complimentary tea, coffee, coffee pods, soap, shampoo and conditioner. A small basket of wood & firefighters for the fire pit is also provided. Additional wood can be purchased from the farm if required. Short breaks are available throughout the year, subject to a minimum of a two-night stay. A travel cot can be provided if required. One well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional cost of £25.00 per stay. Additional dogs by arrangement. Please note that dogs must not be left unattended or permitted on the furniture. You must also please remove and properly dispose of all dog waste. Any mess or damage left may result in further charges. Currently, there is no Wifi, but this will be installed soon.
