The space The Bunkhouse at Long Point is a wonderful, traditional Maine cabin on a private peninsula available to you when the owners are in residence in the cottage. Sleeps two in real comfort, offering bath with shower, kitchenette with toaster oven, electric kettle and mini-fridge for light meals. Enjoy views of the water as you dine in the Bunkhouse or outside in a Long Point lounging chair. Skylights, fan and electric heater are additional amenities in this snug, insulated cabin. You have easy access to Rockland's museums and culture, Port Clyde's working waterfront and ferry to Monhegan Island or you may decide just to hang out at Long Point watching seals in the Cove, eagles and osprey overhead and the peninsula's red squirrels. Two night minimum. Pricing includes a continental breakfast for your first morning. Guest access Guests have access to the Cove, hammocks and grounds. Note that the grill on the property is not available to Bunkhouse guests and any grilling or fire is not permitted on the property. Other things to note The Bunkhouse is outfitted to allow for light snacks, coffee, tea or cold drink of your choice. The area has many great restaurants for eat-in or bring back (like McLoons Lobster).
