The beach and pier are steps away along the great 17th-century mule track. Airy and bright atmosphere, with unbeatable views of the lake and mountains. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. A bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds, living room with sofa bed and a small but modern kitchen fully equipped with fridge / freezer, gas hob, dishes, pots and pans and dishwasher and microwave. The apartment also has air conditioning and private parking on the main street, right in front of the apartment! A parking spot is available free of charge. Bed linens and towels are provided and are included in the price. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The apartment is southwest facing with a beautiful balcony where you can enjoy the sun and breathtaking views from noon until sunset. If you're tired of the lake and mountains, maybe you'll be lucky and catch a glimpse of George Clooney, as his villa is right across the street from the apartment. Don't forget to bring your telescope! The colors of the lake have two large balconies, southwest and west, which are ideal places to relax, sunbathe or have a romantic dinner while watching the sunset. Lounge chairs are available. It's about a 100-meter walk down, even though on small romantic alleyways, to reach the lake and a small beach. Below Pinkhouse there are other apartments that are owned by the owner's brother, and are all used exclusively as vacation apartments. The neighborhood consists of similar houses and a beautiful church. Careno is a pretty little village but offers some small grocery stores and restaurants in the nearby villages of Nesso and Pognana Lario. There is a beautiful and secluded beach in Careno, on the east side of the lake in the direction of Bellagio. The beach is part natural sand and part grass. It is very quiet and romantic. There is also a trattoria nearby, but we recommend a picnic as the restaurant works mainly by reservation. It is reachable on foot via a pedestrian passageway that winds through the ancient village or by public boat that stops very close. The walkway goes up and down and is partly formed by steps. The pier is located immediately after the entrance to reach the beach, but it is not very big, but not too small as well.
