Vaxholm is an old charming archipelago town (5 km from Resarö) which has a wide range of small shops and restaurants. The city also serves as a focal point for several archipelago boats. Within walking distance there are several swimming areas, ICA shop which is open every day between 8 am-21 pm, restaurant / pizzeria, tennis courts and boules.
