The space Lower Folds is a well equipped holiday home in the heart of Over Haddon with a popular dining pub only 300 yards away and with easy access (2 miles - regular village bus service) to the charming town of Bakewell. With spectacular walking and cycling on the doorstep, Lower Folds is the perfect base to explore the Peak District National Park whether by car, bike or on foot. A beautifully presented 2 bedroom (1 double / 1 twin plus travel cot) limestone cottage in the heart of the popular village of Over Haddon surrounded by beautiful Peak District National Park countryside. All guests are welcome to bring up to 2 dogs - please note that there is an additional charge of £25 per stay (not per dog) - payable in cash on arrival. The cottage is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated throughout offering country living with modern amenities with a comfortably sized living and dining area equipped with free unlimited WiFi, FreeSAT TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. Your stay includes a welcome pack consisting of: Tea, Coffee (both fresh and instant), Sugar, Butter, Milk, Kitchen Towel, Washing Up Liquid Shower Gel, Shampoo, Handwash, Tissues and Toilet Tissue Relax in front of the fireplace and plan your Peak District break from a selection of local maps, guide books and tourist information. Or enjoy the selection of fiction and non fiction and family games available to our guests. Upstairs the 2 large bedrooms feature a Double bed with far reaching views to the rear. The 2nd bedroom to the front of the property has 2 single beds. All beds are dressed with egyptian cotton bed linen, hypoallergenic quilts and pillows with 2 towels per guest. We also offer a travel cot (please note no linen is provided), high chair, stair gate, fireguard, potty, infant toilet seat and toilet training step suitable for babies and infants. The upstairs bathroom features a bath, shower, hand basin and w.c. Downstairs there is a second cloakroom with hand basin and w.c. The kitchen is very well equipped with a full sized fridge, full sized freezer, washing machine, 4 ring gas hob, electric fan oven and microwave oven. Other appliances include a toaster, fresh coffee machine, slow cooker and smoothie maker. We provide tea towels and hand towels for both the kitchen and downstairs w.c. Lower Folds offers off road private parking for 2 vehicles and secure storage e.g. for bikes. To the rear of the cottage is a fully enclosed garden with wooden bench seating ideal for enjoying the afternoon sun and an outdoor dining area with table and chairs perfect for enjoying your breakfast alfresco or a meal and drink on a fine evening. To the front of the cottage is a small walled herbaceous border garden. Guest access You have access to all areas of Lower Folds.
