Nestled into the rugged coastline sits our 1 bedroom apartment in a barn that has been lovingly restored. Our bolthole has become a regular escape for many offering panoramic sea views from the comfort of the sofa, a stroll down to the water’s edge or along the SW coastal footpath. It lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Cornwall Mining World Heritage site. Carrick View really does boast an envious location. You’ll never tire of waking to such spectacular views of the Atlantic. The space The apartment is in a spectacular location overlooking the golf course down to the cove. The dining/lounge/kitchen is open-plan and the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric cooking facilities. Heating is electric and inclusive. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is one double bedroom, and one bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, you shall find seating areas on the seaward side of the barn to sit and enjoy the views over the cove. There is a laundry room for guests' use which also provides secure storage area for surf boards or bicycles. Please note and respect the strict no smoking policy inside our apartment. Other things to note There is such a variety of things to do locally, from exploring the mining landscapes and walking the coast path, to relaxing on the beaches, or playing a round golf. Part of the Poldark Series has been filmed in this area. Levant Mine is the location of Tressiders Rolling Mill, and Wheal Owles and The Crowns at Botallack provide the location for Wheal Leisure. The Brisons appear in the opening shots of the series. The town of St Just offers a variety of shops for provisions, cafes, pubs, and a good, Cornish fish and chip shop as well. Further afield there is a wealth of prehistoric sites to explore including; the Men-an-Tol stones, gardens such as Trengwainton, National Trust properties, St Michael's Mount, the Art galleries in Penzance and St Ives; and the Minack Theatre, to mention a few. Sennen beach is only 7 miles away as is the famous Land's End.
