COOKING in the unit: This mother-in-law unit does NOT have a kitchen hood-fan, but it comes with an induction cooking plate, toaster oven and microwave to accommodate our guests. There is also a BBQ outside with a side burner plus a gas fire pit right under a covered deck, perfect for cookouts. We do not allow any extra cooking appliances or anything burning inside the unit as it would represent a risk of fire or electrical circuit surcharge. Also for sustained cooking, it is best to cook outside since there is no fan inside and would not want to bother the upstairs tenants with cooking odors. Other things to note Owner or other guests may stay upstairs. Observance of the quiet hours is appreciated.
