The space The apartment features a large, open-plan space combining a living room, a kitchen, and a dining area. The living room opens to a balcony offering relaxing views of the gulf of Porto Rafti. There are three bedrooms in the apartment. One bedroom has a double bed with a premium memory foam mattress, the second has a single bed with an excellent quality mattress, and the third serves as a workspace with a desk/table and a sofa that can convert into two beds if needed. These two supplemental beds feature high-quality memory foam and Tencel mattress toppers. All three rooms have closets to store your clothes and belongings. The flat comfortably accommodates up to four people, but can host up to five upon request. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hotplates, an extractor hood, an oven, a large fridge, a dishwasher, an espresso machine, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer, cookware, a fire blanket, and plenty of kitchenware. There is also a washing machine located under the kitchen counter. There is one bathroom with a spacious built-in shower, beautiful lighting, shelves, and a drawer for your belongings. Towels and sheets will be provided upon your arrival. Amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, dehumidifier, fire extinguisher, and beach gear. There is a Wi-Fi connection in the apartment. There is a front balcony overlooking the sea and a rear balcony accessible from the kitchen (during the summer months, it is ideal at noon and early afternoon, as the front balcony can get very hot), as well as a wrap-around catwalk balcony linking the two. All balcony doors are equipped with mosquito nets. The apartment is located on the third floor of the building and is accessible only by stairs, as unfortunately, there is no elevator. There are 82 steps in total to reach the third floor: 25 steps (many of which are wide and shallow) to go up from the coastal road level to the back of the building where the stairwell is located, and another 57 steps to go up to the third floor. The building was constructed in the 70s and the flat was entirely renovated in 2020. It is air-conditioned with a 24,000 BTU unit in the living room and a 12,000 BTU unit in the main bedroom. There is also a ceiling fan in the second bedroom and a floor fan in the third. The apartment is fully equipped and designed to offer you a memorable holiday. It is carefully decorated, and the comfortable lighting is dimmable to suit your needs and mood. You can go for a swim just by walking downstairs and crossing the street. The spot is beautiful with clear waters, and it is ideal for families with children as it consists of small, protected coves. Guest access During your stay, you have full access to all the interior and exterior spaces of the apartment. There is a secondary metal door providing direct access from the stairwell area to the wrap-around balconies. You do not need to use it, but if you unlock it for any reason (e.g., to bring bulky beach equipment onto the balcony), please make sure to lock it again for your own safety and the security of the apartment. Other things to note Please note: The apartment is located on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. Therefore, it is not accessible for wheelchair users and may be challenging for elderly guests, pregnant women, or people with limited mobility. Please treat the space as if it were your own home, keep it clean, and leave it in a similar condition to how you found it. Please take care not to cause any damage to the property. Thank you. Regarding children: The apartment is not officially listed as suitable for infants and young children. Although we have taken certain precautions to make the listing safe and welcoming for young children (e.g., protective corners and security glass on the living room coffee table, high railings and protective security glass on the balconies, availability of protectors for low electrical outlets, a baby cot/crib, and children's bed linen, child chair), the space does not have official child-safety certification in the context of hospitality, if such certifications exist. This is due to: the lack of an elevator, the lack of special electrical outlets with covers for infants and young children, the 3rd-floor wrap-around balconies (even though they have high railings and glass), the glass coffee table (even though it is made of security glass and has protective corners), the oven being located below the worktop level, and the presence of decorative cacti on the balconies.
