My partner and I live in this house and we are over 65, we enjoy getting an opportunity to learn about you and your interests. This space is perfect for long term stays, many travel nurses and technicians have stayed. The "Sunrise Room" is a mellow space for ONE person, with a coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave. The rest of the house is an artists home in Carson City, Nevada. PLEASE no smokers. Eclectic colors, board games, a fireplace and a hot tub out back. The kitchen, laundry and yards are also available to use. A very open household. Comfortable and friendly. The backyard is awesome from the hot tub or the hammock. Good shade trees out front. We occasionally have deer visit the front yard. During summer we have fresh mint and basil next to the front door for our cooking or tea! We do not have a television but DO have high speed internet if you wish to stream on your own devices. There is a large monitor available for you to utilize. We are only a few blocks from downtown with fantastic restaurants and just around the corner from the Brewery Arts Center, dances, classes, bands, community and theatre. Only half an hour from Lake Tahoe or Reno. Virginia City is a fun place too. You will park on the same side of the street as the house, in front of the house, nearest the neighbors to the north, not near the driveway, my neighbor to the south is not good with you parking in front of his house at all. Entry is through the front door. The living room, kitchen, laundry and bath are all available as well as the backyard with a fire pit, bbq and a hot tub. You MAY be sharing the hall bathroom with the Tiki Room guest. Please be aware, absolutely NO SMOKERS. We have sensitivities that can be exacerbated by smoke. We often host board game parties and you are very welcome to join us. During summer we often BBQ out back. I am a burner and believe in the 10 Principles. If you think you will want to use it please let me know in advance so I can make sure it is hot enough for you. Spur of the moment is fine too, it's just that if I sit in it the temp lowers and requires some heating again to get up to 102 or 104. However, during summer, often it is a cool pool, not a hot tub. You can use the washer and dryer if you need it. We have many games you are welcome to pull out and play, just put them back when done. Also, we have a monitor you can hook your laptop up to if you wish, cords are available.
