Entire Thatched Cottage

Cobblers Cottage is full of charm & character, good sized rooms [albeit wonky & low ceilings!], modern kitchen & a private garden. It is over 400years old so some dust & the odd spider is possible, it is not a brand new show house, more National Trust! PLEASE NOTE there is only on street parking ~100 metres from the cottage. Early check-in & late check-out maybe possible for a fee (covers the cost of changing the cleaning schedule, arrangements & utility costs). The space There are two good sized double rooms (one can have a single bed added) and a cosy twin room. The thatch is new making the house very quiet and snug. There are beams throughout, uneven floors and low ceilings in places, all adding to the authentic character of what was the cobblers home and workshop. There is a twin bedroom, bathroom and a separate toilet with sink on the ground floor for anyone who cannot manage the stairs. Guest access There is a modern kitchen, a family bathroom, en suite to master bedroom room, plus a separate toilet with sink. There is a lounge with two large sofas and smart TV, a dining room with table and chairs, inglenook (not in use) and sofa. The garden is laid to lawn with flower beds. There is a garden dining set and bench. Other things to note All of our neighbours are very happy the cottage is on AirB&B, but most are elderly so please respect their privacy and NEVER park on other peoples drives! The best place to park is on the High Street. The house cannot be seen from the road [or on web based 'street view'], access is via a private pedestrian footpath via a small blue gate to the right of a small thatched cottage that fronts the lane. Our house is behind the small thatched cottage so we suggest people stop their car by the blue gate to unload bags before parking. Normally we try to meet guests but are equally happy to let guests self check in. We suggest stopping in the lane while unloading bags and then park on The High Street, Dolphin Lane or the Village Car Park. It is an access only lane so there is very little traffic to worry about.
