Situated in an old historic village of 3,000 inhabitants with an old bridge over a river, an 11th century church, beautiful walks. Town also has a bakery, pharmacy, small grocery, and good restaurant. An ideal place for a getaway--suitable for long walks in the country and meals in the garden. Many places to visit within 30 minute radius: Vaux-le-Vicomte, Barbizon, Moret-sur-Loing, Chateau de Fontainebleau. Day and overnight trips to Burgundy and the Loire Valley are also possible. Train station is 10 minutes away by car and the train ride into Paris only 35 minutes. It's useful to have a rental car while renting the house.
