Rosella Place Bedroom in a lovely Georgian house

Rosella Place Beautifully restored Georgian home built in 1798 where the famous painter Myles Birket Foster was born in 1825 Anyone staying here will be very comfortable and enjoy as much privacy as they need. We want your stay to be the best it can therefore we urge you to ask if there is anything at all you need. We have a very friendly dog called George who is very gentle chocolate Labrador Ideally located for the AIS course. 5 mins in a taxi The space The house is very comfortable and the room is well proportioned on the top floor, leaving you to enjoy your privacy as the only guest. The room has been done in a traditional style with solid mahogany bed and antique furniture. We can also squeeze a ‘put-me-up’ bed in the room for a child with prior notice. For your comfort there are extra towels and additional throws in the drawers. Please feel free to use them. You have a delightful traditional bathroom with a walk in shower. Tea and coffee facilities are also available for you. Whilst here we will not disturb you, however, if there is anything at all you need please don’t hesitate to ask as we would like your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Given that the kitchen is open to our sitting room ( and our only personal space) we don’t provide cooking facilities However the majority of guests are happy with a local takeaway etc and we are happy to offer plates , knifes forks and trays to take up to the room. Allowing guests and hosts to still enjoy their personal space Guest access If we are at home we will greet you personally, however, should we not be here we will communicate arrangements for access and checking in with you prior to arrival. Due to this communication of your arrival time is viral and we would ask for 30 minutes notice on the day unless you have a leader communicated this. You will be staying on the 2nd floor so there are quite a few stairs. There is no lift as this is a old listed listed building. During your stay We are very friendly and welcoming. We will happy to socialise during your visit should you wish to do so. However, the stay is about you and your comfort so we will respect your privacy at all times. Other things to note IMPORTANT When you type in our postcode NE29 0HU for Rosella place the sat nav may come up with Ayres trce or Brightman road. THIS IS FINE , these are the two side streets , we are one of the four Georgian houses which face the main Road, Which is Albion Road so when you park up , walk back on to the main Road and you will find us. If you are travelling by car please try to park opposite the house as there is no restrictions in this area. However should you need to park in the permit holders only zone we are (NS2) and there is a visitor permit by the front door. We are only allowed one guest permit per year which, if lost, cannot be replaced until it’s annual renewal date, therefore we ask that you remember to leave it here on your departure. We will explain this in more detail on your arrival.
