Chynov is a city with a fairly rich history. The first mention of Chýnov is from the year 981. In the square, you might be interested in the Church of the Holy Trinity, a mansion that today serves as a retirement home or, for example, a beautiful elementary school. One of the biggest attractions is the Chýnov cave. If you want to learn more, I recommend to walk 4 km educational trail through the square, around the school, then through the forest over the nine-arched stone railway bridge, around the apiaries to the nature reserve - the Pacova Hora quarry, where you can take part in a tour of the Chýnovská cave. If you have children, you should not miss the local CAMEL FARM. You will learn a lot of interesting information, you can ride camels, take a llama for a walk or just relax in a yurt, with a little exoticism behind your back. If you have more time, I also recommend visiting the Hussite town of Tábor, 10 km away, with a lot of historical monuments, a chocolate museum, a botanical garden or the Housův mlýn open-air museum. You can also go (even by bike) to the ruins of Choustník Castle, Goat Castle or Červená Lhota. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We look forward to welcoming you!!! :)
