Dogwood Serenity

Very quiet neighborhood. House at the dead end with almost no traffic. Wooded area on two sides of the house. Less than mile from Walmart. Easy access to freeways. Near Emory hospital. Stone Mountain Park close. A free friendly park up the street next to library! We are friendly and social but if you want your space, it is ok! We live on site so if you ever need anything we are right upstairs or close by or one call away! Our home has an old fashioned porch with rocking chairs! Bird feeder! The space The friendly and quiet neighborhood has free public park with tennis courts, ballgames, concession stands, walking paths. Right past there is a "new dog park" where many ball games, cook outs, and great walking trails and of course children playground areas! Next to the park is the Gwinnett public library. Just a little more down the street is Kroger grocery store with healthy foods and a StarBuck inside to sit and enjoy! Down the street are several churches and one that offers free gym access for the community! They are right behind the Walgreen's Drug Store and Kroger grocery store with healthy foods. If you are a hiker or want to visit famous Stone Mountain Park, it is 5 minutes away and they have many walking/running areas or you can hike up the mountain! Besides that, they have many events and shops and fun areas to see and be entertained. During certain seasons, they have fire works most nights with a laser show on the front of the mountain, while people bring their blankets and picnics to watch the fireworks and fun laser shows. Your bathroom is across the hallway from your room, but it is your own private bathroom with shower/bath tub, etc. Full access to kitchen and free to cook if you wish. You may use our pots and pans and silverware and utensils, etc. Only requirements, please keep your space clean! You may enjoy the living room and dining room and also, there is a den on other side of the kitchen. The den has a desk, some videos and limited tv shows. Comfortable to read and relax. Ask about fireplace before using please. During your stay We live in the house also, so if you need anything we are right upstairs or close by. If we are not home we will provide our phone numbers to you. Please feel free to call us. Other things to note Most of the time the neighbors are busy with work and school and will wave on their way in or out! But on some weekends, our kind neighbors...a couple of their children like to ride their bikes on the dead end or push their baby doll strollers. Some people from the neighborhood (Still Wood Forest) include our dead end on their walking route. They come and go so quickly you hardly realize. Very peaceful place and very quiet neighborhood. Occasionally, the deer family or one lonely deer may wonder through our back yard or across the front to the street into the woods.
