Fawsley Hall a country house hotel which does fantastic food (especially the afternoon tea) in a fabulous setting is 4 miles away. The Plough in Everdon is an excellent pub with a modern interesting menu - it is about 7 miles away. There are many local village pubs which also have good food. Guest access The entire space Other things to note The toilet in the top floor is a macerator toilet which means nothing other than human waste and toilet paper can be placed in it. We are not on mains sewage so nothing other than human waste and toilet paper can be placed in the toilets. The hot water in the main house is heated by two hot water tanks and in the annex a further hot water tank as there is no mains gas in the village. The hot water tanks once emptied needs to reheat so if the tank is completely emptied it may take up to an hour for it to reheat again.
