Taunton Manor - Green Room (With Solar)

The property provide views of the city lights and is set next to a natural green belt and stream. The room is beautifully decorated and spacious. It overlooks the pool area and manicured formal garden. The neighborhood, Wembley, is a suburb on the Northern hills of Pietermaritzburg and is know for its is lush and green surroundings. There is a newly build lifestyle centre 1km from the property and is within 3,5 km from all the major hospitals. The space Taunton Manor offers 6 beautifully decorated bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 4 communal areas including a Formal Lounge, Bar area, Dining Room, Verandah overlooking a pool, and a spacious Kitchen with a fireplace. Taunton Manor aims to create a "Home away from Home" feeling, with rooms that are serviced daily, availability of home cooked meals, beautiful landscaped gardens and communal spaces that accommodate everyones individual needs providing luxury, freedom and comfort all in one experience. Guest access Good Day Thank you for your interest in Taunton Manor. Our establishment has 6 en-suite rooms that are beautifully decorated including a non-ducted air conditioners, TV, WIFI and queen sized beds. These rooms all share 3 common living areas, a big open plan kitchen with all appliances and cutlery / crockery available for your own culinary needs, and 9 open parking bays. We have beautifully landscaped gardens that look over the twinkling lights of the city. Catering can be arranged at an extra fee, but we recommend many lovely restaurants in Pietermaritzburg / Hilton or the Greater Midlands area, there is however good coffee at the house. Just some things to note: 1. If you are an individual traveler then the rate per room applies, however, if you are travelling as a couple then you need to add an extra guest to your booking. Click on "add extra guest", as the room price is for an individual 2. Rooms can accommodate 2 individuals (and a camping cot if needed, we do have one available), but if you are more than 2 guests (excluding an infant) then another room needs to be added. If you are NOT wanting to share rooms then a room per person needs to be booked, this will be a full price tariff per room. 3. A special request needs to be made to book the entire house, else please note that there may be other guests booked into the other rooms during your stay. 4. All our bathrooms have showers only, and only 1 of our rooms have a bath & shower combination. If you require a bath please advise and we will book accordingly. 5. Strict Covid rules do apply, and sanitisers are available throughout the house, with temperature checks on arrival. 6. A caretaker lives on the property for all your questions and letting you into the house. 7. Check in times are after 2pm, or a luggage drop off after 12pm. Check out times are between 10-12pm depending on the bookings (10am out of the room for cleaning). 8. There is a pool with a pool cover. 9. We have a strict noise policy within reason to favour other guests and neighbours, if you are wanting a loud party then please consider another venue. 10. In the instance of a power failure there is a generator, however, sometimes the WIFI is poor in this instance. 11. If you are travelling as a family and want rooms next to one another please advise. We normally allocate the Turquoise Room to a family as it has the bath available for young children. 12. We do have a resident cat (Twinkle), please let us know if this is an issue. The caretaker, Siyabonga, stays on the property and will be able to help you with anything that you need.
