Comfortable 3 room holiday home with veranda and wonderfully private swimming pool(12x5x1.5 to 2.8m deep) in a magnificent location with fabulous views! Located on a completely enclosed plot of almost 3000m2. Top privacy, absolute tranquility, views over villages/towns/ beautiful scenery and yet at a very short distance from the inhabited world! The space Layout; entrance, spacious living - dining room with a built-in kitchen with a 4-burner gas hob, electric oven, extractor hood and a fridge/freezer. You will also find a washing machine (also a ironing board and iron is of course at your disposal) an LED TV and DVD with satellite receiver for the (HD) Dutch public and commercial channels, a stereo – radio – CD (mp3)player, a 4-person dining table and a sitting area with a small double sofa bed (by the way not suitable for large adults). From this departure you have a view of the lovely veranda with dining table. In the house there are two more bedrooms where the master bedroom is for example a double bed and a wardrobe, the children's bedroom is e.g. a bunk bed and a wardrobe. Last but not least, a modern bathroom with a toilet and a shower. Everything is modern and neatly finished and will definitely contribute to a enjoyable stay. Now also with WIFI so take your tablet, smartphone or laptop with you with peace of mind! Outside you have plenty of opportunities for recreation by the pool (e.g. diving board) with 4 sun loungers and a parasol. There are also various possibilities such as recreation under the pine trees on the property above. For our guests it is also true that one can enjoy everything that grows and blooms such as figs, grapes, cactus fruits, almond nuts etc. For BBQ lovers there is a large stone BBQ present. Even in the evening the whole is by the atmospheric lighting around the house, around (and in) the pool and on the driveway a fairy tale! In the immediate vicinity you have the lively town of Leonforte at your fingertips with many monumental churches and buildings, shops, terraces but also a vibrant evening life with many (especially in the summer months) events. You should also not miss a visit to the impressive cemetery. Walk through the characteristic Sicilian village district to the Gran Fonte. At a short distance and a little further away you will also find several old (charming and less charming) towns and villages such as Assoro, Enna, Calascibetta, Piazza Armerina, Nicosia. An outlet of a real nature reserve is also within easy reach. You will also find here in the area several beautiful and characteristic agriturismo's with a fantastic cuisine. Water sports at nearby Lake Nicoletti (reservoir and nature reserve) or Lake Pergusa near Enna. Truly authentic Sicily, without mass tourism, culinary paradise and a lot of culture at your fingertips! To take a day at the beach, you are within about 45 minutes by car to the beaches of ( I lidi ) Catania and if you want to combine beach with afterwards nice shopping and dining in a nice place then we recommend you Cefalu at more than an hour drive. Day trips to Palermo, Catania, Agrigento, Toarmina, the Etna and Siracusa are also recommended. Shopping in the aforementioned cities but also in the Sicilia Outlet Village, 10 km away from the highway, for the real aficionado of branded clothing and 40 minutes drive the large shopping mall "EtnaPolis" with residential boulevard but also all known shopping formulas, cinema center and fast food companies. Golfing is possible on 4 top courses, near Toarmina , Agrigento, Ragusa and Cefalu. Once again, due to the central location of your holiday accommodation, about 90% of all sights and other hotspots are at a maximum of one and a half to two hours drive where you can discover Sicily from one location!
