Modern Adobe Oasis in a great central location

Come and rest or work in my Santa Fe adobe with a mid-century modern aesthetic that holds true to its Spanish roots. The house was built in 1960 by my grandfather who was a well-known local builder. House is on a corner lot surrounded by over 15 trees and lots of privacy. On entering the property many note that the energy shifts and that the home has a calming effect on them. The air conditioned house has many windows to let in natural light. The space The space is in a truly wonderful neighborhood that is safe and close to Santa Fe’s Rail Yard and Plaza. The Rail Yard hosts one of the most successful Farmer’s Markets in the country every Saturday morning, where fresh produce is delivered from many small agricultural villages along the Rio Grande. The Rail Yard is also home to many internationally acclaimed contemporary art museums and galleries, notably Site Santa Fe which is one of the world’s most prominent museums of that genre. The Rail Yard also provides access to the great shops, restaurants and parks - all within walking distance to the home. Guest access Guests can use the entire house and the garage is also available for those with compact cars. The outdoor space is lovely and there is a place to be out of the sun in various locations throughout the day including a small patch of grass in the back yard. In the morning, the front porch or the west side table are ideal. In the evening as the sun sets the table on the north side of garden is a wonderful place to relax, eat dinner, and once its dark to watch the night sky. Guest have access to the BBQ grill on the west side. Other things to note I am committed to providing you with a wonderful space to enjoy your time in Santa Fe. Due to respiratory health issues, I cannot host your animal friends, only the human ones.
