A genuine Swedish torp on a sunny forest hill

A genuine old-style forest cottage from 1879 (a typical Swedish torp); preserved and restored in old-fashioned style. It is located on a very sunny hill in the forest, with open spaces 50 metres in all directions, 600 metres to the nearest neighbor and 100% transparency protected. Nature is at your doorstep and with endless walking trails through the forests. There are several forest lakes within walking distance from the house. Most of them are great for swimming, also for small children. The space A genuine, silent, old-style forest cottage (torp) with a modern bathroom and water system. No neighbours. Very sunny. Please, note that the standard is basic in most areas of the house. The kitchen stove is new from 2019, the bathroom is from 2015, the water system is also from 2015, the refrigerator is from 2013 and some rooms have been renovated 2010 - 2019 in a genuine Swedish old style, with new wallpapers and paint. There is no dishwasher och washing machine in the house because there is no place for them. But we have another property eight minutes away by car where you can wash your clothes. In the spring there are wild daffodils blooming everywhere on the slopes. From May to September you will have full sun 15 hours per day on sunny days. In the autumn there are chanterelles on the driveway and blueberries near the house. The winters can be white from November to March, but also green with only short periods with snow. The area is 175 m above sea level which means that it's normally a couple of degrees colder than in Kinna/Skene, cold enough to make the snow stay a bit longer. You can buy a fishing card (fiskekort) which allows you to go fishing at some lakes in the area, for example Stora Galtasjön which is one of the closest lakes. This lake is also very beautiful and is great swimming. Despite all this you will most often be alone here. There is a lot more to say about this house and environment. Guest access The whole house (100 sqm) plus huge outdoor areas (53.000 square metres). Other things to note Note 1 Please, note that Torpet Nyhem now has an ordinary water closet in the bathroom. Until December 2019 there was only a compost toilet which occasionally caused some problems with odours, and as a result also negative ratings from guests. Note 2 Torpet Nyhem now also has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove/oven. Note 3 The mattresses are simple standard and 10-15 cm thick. Some guests think they are too hard and uncomfortable while others love them. It is of course impossible to have mattresses that fit all guests. Note 4 The house is from 1880 with the rugged surfaces deliberately preserved. The house is always cleaned for 5-6 hours between guests. But because of the rugged areas it is impossible to make the rooms look like shining hotel rooms. Please, have all of this in mind before you arrive.
