Small apartment in Breb's Cosy Barn green garden

Breb's Cosy Barn is located in the heart of the historic region of Maramures, in northern Transylvania. It is an old traditional wooden barn placed in a wonderful, green private garden within the charming village of Breb. Transformed into a beautiful, alternative living space, vibrant and full of light, it gives life to the old wood and to objects once forgotten. Furbished with comfortable beds and all the necessary kitchen tools it's creating a cosy atmosphere with flavours of past times. The space The guesthouse in which I'm welcoming you, is placed in a beautiful green garden, in one of the most well-known traditional villages of Transylvania ...here you can still admire the archaic way of life, people being close to nature and working the land upon ancient method es...I felt in love with Breb and I decided to live here... I love old traditional wooden houses, I live in one and now you can experience all of this as all. Starting from the way this Barn was originally built, is now divided in 2 independent areas (2 separate entrances ,2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms) which can be rented separately or the entire house if you are a bigger group, enjoy and have it all for you! I call them apartments....the small one ( which is listed here) was made in what once was the animal stable...now is a cosy room with a reading/singing/resting corner, a nice kitchen where you can make your coffee, prepare breakfast..and so on and a small-practical bathroom with shower. Upstairs is a large bedroom with one matrimonial bed, one single children bed and if needed a comfortable chair-bed for the second child. Children are very welcomed , they have a great playground around and about... Your well-behaved dogs are also welcomed, so that you can enjoy your holiday with your extended family. The two apartments do not communicate through inside....but outdoor the common spaces/areas could be shared with other guests. We recently added a relaxation nest in our garden: Rustic spa, which includes a Smoke Sauna,, a wooden tub under the open sky (which you can use cold or hot. ). A solar shower in the garden, a pavilion and everything else you can think of for your relaxation :) all between trees and sounds of nature. Guest access The guests have acces to the apartment they rent. The large garden, lots of green space and a fire pit...outdoor tables, chairs and benches, hammocks...and a wonderful gazebo for the rainy days. During your stay I live with my daughter and our family of dogs, cats, ducks and a poney, we love animals, therefor we are vegetarians. Our home, an old wooden house is 100 meters from The Barn ....so I am mostly home and around. We moved here from the busy city to enjoy the simple ,quiet country life...nature is for us the ideal place to find inner peace and balance but we also love to meet old friends and make new friends. I am happy to chat over a drink, give you a few tips of what to do and where to go if you need. Other things to note In the village there are 2 charming restaurants with garden and terase where the serve delicious homemade local food. On request, I can make arrangements for breakfast and dinner with families in the village, so you can experience local, traditional food which will be delivered to you... Food arrangements have a separate price and will be paid directly to the family that will cook for you.
