Our standard rooms include either three-quarter or double beds, and each has its own en-suite bathroom. As we’ve collected a range of furniture over the course of our history, each room is unique in its furnishings, from tables and dressing tables to headboards and chairs. Rooms are equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities and a TV with selected DStv channels. The space The Mont d'Or Swartberg Hotel is a charming four-star Victorian hotel, situated in the heart of our quaint Karoo village, Prince Albert. Established as a hotel in 1864, the Swartberg is now one of 19 national monuments in the village and is still the only hotel in Prince Albert today. There’s something special about staying in a beautiful old building, and our rooms are filled with old-world charm and comfort. Today they’re fully refurbished with modern amenities and facilities, but in their ambience, you can still feel their 150-year history.
