The White House Garden Cottage

A stand-alone, single level contemporary property in a garden setting built in 2016. Located in a peaceful rural area, 6 miles north of Derby or 12 miles to the west of Nottingham, the property is ideal for two people however it can accommodate up to four sleeping. It benefits from a large off road parking area for multiple vehicles if you and your party are travelling separately. Large enough to accommodate a motor home or caravan should this option be required. The space The cottage comprises of a spacious open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen features a full-size cooker and hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. It is fully equipped with all the usual kitchen essentials. Please note there is no washing machine/tumble dryer. The lounge area is tastefully decorated and includes seating for four people including a settee that easily converts to a king size bed providing the additional sleeping facility. The room has a flat-screen Freeview TV with separate DVD player and the cottage has the benefit of accessing wifi. The dining area comprises a table and seating for four. A separate bedroom with a king-size double bed is located off the lounge and has the benefit of a walk in wardrobe. A large bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and features a double shower cubicle, hand basin and WC with non-slip tiling to the floor. All bedding and towels are provided. However, should you be visiting and wish to use both the bed and sofa bed, an additional cost of £10.00 is payable on site to the host to cover the cost of laundry for the provision of extra bedding. The property is heated throughout with underfloor heating. Being on a single level the property is suitable for wheelchair access via the patio doors. The property has extensive off road parking and given the rural setting, it is advisable that guests have their own transport, although a regular bus service into Derby can be accessed approximately a half mile walk away. Guest access From the lounge, patio doors open onto a private paved outdoor seating area complete with picnic table. Please note the large garden is accessible for guests pleasure, including a secluded grassed area exclusively for guests use - providing the weather is suitable!! Other things to note Please note: Sorry, we are unable to accept children under 16 years of age and equally pets are not allowed. There are no hidden extra costs added on by the host, such as for cleaning. However standard service fees will be charged by Airbnb for commission, tax etc. For those new to Airbnb, when you reserve and pay for your stay, the fee does not come to the host until after you have checked in to the property for your stay.
