Outside there is a patio with outdoor furniture. Guest access Felitto, as mentioned, is a village located in the hinterland of Cilento, a few kilometers from Laurino, Roccadaspide and Bellosguardo. The town is perched on the cliff of San Nicola and is about 40 km from the gates of the Cilento di Capaccio and the archaeological area of Paestum. As mentioned, Felitto has a medieval historical center whose origins date back to before the year 1000. Even today, it is possible to visit the remains of some of the thirteen watchtowers and the original perimeter walls that surrounded the town, defending the buildings inside. In the historic center of Felitto we find alleys, arches, doorways, churches and historic buildings, including the "Palazzo Baronale" commonly called "the Castle. The Western Gate of Felitto and the medieval donkey-back bridge at the gates of the village are very impressive. The Calore Gorges of Felitto near Remolino are one of the beauties of the Cilento National Park. Canoes and pedal boats can be rented, but you can also go canyoning or walk one of the various trekking trails in the village. THE FUSILLO FELITTESE FESTIVAL The festival of Fusillo Felittese is one of the most famous in Cilento. The main feature that distinguishes the Fusillo Felittese lies in its size: it is a thin and elongated perforated handmade pasta. The Fusillo Felittese is the protagonist of the festival dedicated to it that has taken place since 1976 during the month of August, usually from August 13 to 23. SAN VITO AND THE MOST HOLY MADONNA OF CONSTANTINOPLE The sacred also has its importance in Cilento and this is also the case in Felitto. On June 15, the patron saint San Vito is celebrated.
