Lydes Farm is a stunning six-bedroom farmhouse with a private hot tub, set within six acres of countryside between Bristol and Bath. Enjoy long walks through the woodland, take in views of Chew Valley Lake, or simply relax on the sun terrace and breathe in the country air while children play in the beautiful gardens. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by a breath-taking entrance and a sweeping 200-yard driveway, lined with overhanging hornbeam and lime trees, leading to the front of the property. The space Lydes Farm is an experience like no other and the perfect getaway for families and friends. Whether you’re relaxing on the sun terrace, playing in the large gardens or exploring the grounds, there’s truly something for everyone. The house oozes class while retaining its beautiful period features. The master suite features a queen-size four-poster bed, a large bathroom and a generous dressing room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the grounds. Upstairs, there are three further double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, a bedroom with twin single beds, and a large family bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath. Downstairs, there is an additional double bedroom. On the ground floor, a large reception hall leads to a spacious living room with access to a spectacular Mediterranean terrace, a cosy sitting room, and an open-plan kitchen and breakfast room, accessed via a grand dining room. The Mediterranean terrace, planted with fig trees, bamboo, and an olive tree, surrounds a feature lily pond — the perfect place to relax. The kitchen opens through bi-fold doors onto a beautiful breakfast terrace overlooking the gardens and private hot tub. There is also a charming Wendy house for the little ones. At the back of the garden, tucked among the trees, is a decking area with a bar, fire pit, and tables and chairs. The property provides two travel cots and two high chairs. If you require travel cot mattress sheets, please let us know in advance so that we can provide this for you. Mattress sizes: 95cm x 65cm. Parking is plentiful, with a carport for five vehicles and additional driveway space for several more cars. Guests can also enjoy a full-size table tennis table and an exercise bike. Lydes Farm is a spacious property with ample room for friends and family. Parties or events are not permitted. Other things to note House Rules & Important Information No stag parties. Children must be supervised at all times. Please note there is an uncovered pond and a hot tub in the garden. Pets: Welcome on the ground floor only, no pets upstairs. The owner kindly requests that pets are not allowed on furniture. Fireplaces are not in use for safety reasons. No smoking inside the property. Additional fees will apply if evidence of smoking inside is found. Check-in /Check-out: Late check-out and early check-in are available on request, subject to availability. Fees apply to cover cleaning costs. Cooking: The Aga cooker is on from October–February. Guests staying outside these months may request it to be turned on. An electric oven is also available. Fridges: Two fridges in the kitchen – a full-length Sub-Zero fridge/freezer and a smaller fridge in a cupboard.
