THE OLD SCHOOL HOUSE, a place for friendly people, including small families who like the cozy stove heat in winter, who independently do their "thing", maybe capture impressions from the Uckermark environment... or do nothing? A few quiet days away from urban comfort... the surroundings are also multifaceted in every season, whether cycling or swimming... Hiking to the lake or in the forests - the Baltic Sea and Szczecin Lagoon in 90 minutes by car? The space The old schoolhouse is a cottage that is over 100 years old. We are trying to renovate it slowly....i.e. also restore some of the old substance. The rooms vary in their function. Almost everywhere there are sleeping places but also space for eating and relaxing are available. Of course, the small kitchen is a kitchen, etc. 5, max. 6 can stay overnight. The house will always receive you warmly, i.e. heated. However, you are responsible for additional heating material. The supermarkets or the hardware store would be sources of supply. Guest access There are four heatable rooms for use, plus the kitchen and bathroom. The small apartment has a separate entrance. In winter, you have to get involved in heating beautiful old tiled stoves. There is also a small wood-burning stove. Other things to note Perhaps it is important to mention that there are wind turbines in the vicinity, but not every visual axis / perspective is affected by them. In addition, you have to be prepared to heat the stoves in winter. From autumn 2022, a deposit (depending on the length of the booking) will be charged for all electricity costs incurred, which will be offset at the end of the stay.
