Guesthouse Avli -The Courtyard

The guesthouse “Avli” (the Courtyard) is located in the heart of the village of Agia Varvara, a tranquil village 20 km south of the capital Nicosia. The village is centrally located. Only fifteen minutes to the Venetian walled capital Nicosia, twenty mins to the beaches of Larnaca , twenty five mins to Larnaca airport and thirty mins to Limassol. All amenities are within walking distance. Two banks, a pharmacy, three supermarkets, fruit market, bakery, two traditional tavernas and a pizzaria. The space Our main house, which is over a hundred years old, is a protected, listed mud brick (adobe) building, noted for its typical village characteristics. The guesthouse is built in the traditional style with all modern comforts with its own private entrance and parking from an adjacent road. Located on the other side of the courtyard of our house. It is cosy, bright and quiet with a window facing the southern Machairas mountains, and a small balcony and windows facing north. Guests are welcome to make use of the courtyard which is sheltered by an olive tree, a loquat tree and a vine. Guest access Upstairs bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a small balcony. The downstairs room with washing machine, iron, fridge, breakfast table, plates and cutlery, stove top, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and office desk. Plus the courtyard with table and chairs under the olive tree. Other things to note There is one small dog and three shy cats on the premises.
