Comfortably fits two to four people; leisurely stroll to beaches, markets, restaurants, entertainment. The space Immerse Yourself in a Delightful Hellenic Experience Charming 1 full bedroom, 2 bath, furnished vacation home available for rent on Euboea (Evvia), a picturesque Greek island, easily accessible from mainland Greece (sleeps up to 4 people comfortably). The home has a complete, updated kitchen with all amenities (stove, oven, refrigerator, etc.), washing machine, and ample storage space. You can enjoy the local restaurants or take pleasure in shopping for fresh groceries and cooking in this fully equipped kitchen. A delightful garden encircles this bright, clean home that has spacious rooms with high ceilings and a stunning marble entry staircase and landing, ideal for sipping morning coffee or tea and enjoying the blissful air. Numerous windows and doors allow a fresh cool afternoon breeze to filter through the home. The town is nestled amid pine forests that meet the sea. Our town, Limni, is the epitome of Grecian charm. Follow the aroma to the neighborhood bakery a short block away for freshly baked Hellenic sweet or sourdough bread, specialty cookies, or spanakopita for an afternoon snack. Traipse across the road from the bakery, or along the main town boulevard to the local produce stands for fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Continue along the main street and visit the butcher or fish monger for your daily protein fare. There are supermarkets that stock dry goods and dairy products such as Greek yogurt and delicious local cheeses (hard, soft, and of course feta). In the late afternoon walk to a local café and relax while you enjoy a Greek coffee and scrumptious Hellenic pastries (galaktobouriko or kataifi). The evenings are for strolling, imbibing at a local ouzo bar, and partaking of the delectable food at the restaurants situated along the waterfront. Beach areas are a 10-15 minute walk off one end of town or a short 5-min drive north of the main town square. The water is clear and refreshing with scenic views of mainland Greece to the west across the water. Walking distance from one end of town to the other takes 20 to 30 minutes, unless you stop to cavort with the friendly locals. Take a cab or hike 10 km to the local monastery and visit the impeccable gardens maintained by the nuns, or grab a cab and visit Edipsos famous for their medicinal and relaxing hot springs. Guest access Marble front landing, garden, clothes washer, (all rooms in the home - living room, bedroom, sitting room, kitchen, both bathrooms), & privacy in the home.
