A stone's throw from the charming village of Bétête, very close to a 12th-century abbey, this large house steeped in history is the perfect place to relax in the unspoiled nature of the Creuse countryside. It offers a magnificent view of the wooded park. It's charming in all seasons: - at Christmas with the family, by the fire, - in summer, by the pool or in the large garden You will experience unforgettable moments in this exceptional setting! The space The house has on the ground floor a large living /dining room with fireplace (a wooden trunk is provided), seating area with connected TV and many board games, books, for everyone to find something to relax! A fully equipped kitchen with dining area opens onto the wooden deck and barbecue. A toilet and laundry area complete this ground floor and add a very convenient plus! Upstairs, there are 4 large bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate 8 adults and 3 children, with 1 extra bed, allowing up to 12 people to stay. The first bedroom has a double bed and an extra bed, in the second bedroom: a bunk bed, and two twin beds (which can be assembled into a 160cm bed). In the third bedroom there is a double bed and an extra bed (rather for a child) and in the last one a double bed. All the rooms have kept the charm of this historic residence with their old parquet floor and the beautiful ceiling height! Two bathrooms come to this floor, each with shower and toilet. Outside, you will have an above-ground pool (from 06/15 to 08/31), a porch with a swing, a large south-facing wooden terrace (with an umbrella and a light string), and a barbecue, all in a natural setting! Guest access The property is completely independent, some rooms are private and not accessible (indicated by signs). The owner lives next door, so parking is shared, so you'll need to make sure to leave the access clear. Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. Cleaning is the responsibility of the Conciergerie. The fees for these services will be added directly at the time of booking.
