I live round the corner so I pop by to check everything is ok and fix anything that may need repairing. The village is well served by the popular pub opposite and the local shop just four doors down. Further afield, explore the Kent countryside and coast, with picturesque local towns, villages, country houses, and gardens all just a short drive away. The bus stop is opposite the cottage but be warned there are only 2 buses per day! We hire out 2 mountain bikes to explore the area. Nearest train station is Sittingbourne approx 2 miles away. A taxi to the cottage costs approx £7. Visitors cars can be parked outside on street at the front or back of the cottage. Minimum 2 night stay. £100 damage deposit. We require photo ID of all guests as part of our check-in process. We run Green Cottages Kitchen; Baking and Cookery workshops in my own kitchen (not the cottages). Workshops include bread making; Sourdoughs etc. We have several different scheduled workshops. If guests request a specific date I will try to accommodate with a minimum of 2 participants.
