Upper End House is a spacious and well-proportioned property with four bedrooms offering flexible accommodation, ideal for families or groups of friends holidaying together. Of Cotswold stone construction and with fully enclosed front and rear gardens, the property enjoys amazing views over the surrounding countryside. A generous sitting room with an open fire, fully equipped open-plan dining kitchen, spacious family bathroom and an en-suite shower room ensure a comfortable stay. Just minutes from the charming gateway town of Burford, the house is also perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds with the market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton within easy striking distance, and Blenheim Palace at Woodstock just a little further afield. Additional Information: The pull-out trundle bed in the single bedroom is available on request (small additional charge). An infant is welcome. There is a permanent stair gate located at the top of the stairs. A baby changing station is located in bedroom four. A travel cot and high chair can be requested free of charge during the booking process. A baby bath, bath seat and changing mat are also available on request (please ask a member of our booking team or request in the special request box during your on-line booking). Digital radio and bluetooth speaker provided. Sorry, no pets. Ground Floor: Dining kitchen With two ovens, electric hob, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Breakfast bar in the kitchen and dining table with seating for eight guests in the dining area which has twin bay windows overlooking the rear garden. Sitting room With open fire, television with Freeview, a DVD player and two bay windows with views to the front garden and paddock beyond. Snug Located off an inner hallway, with television with DVD player and online services. Cloakroom Adjacent to the sitting and dining rooms, with wash basin and WC. First Floor: Bedroom one With a 5' king-size bed. En-suite shower room With a shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom two With a 4'6 double bed. Bedroom three With twin single beds. Bedroom four With a 3' single bed and pull-out trundle bed below (additional charge). Bathroom With a roll-top bath, walk-in shower, wash basin with cupboards under and WC. Outside: The rear garden is fully enclosed with a Cotswold stone wall and has a dining set for al fresco meals. The front garden is also fully enclosed and comprises lawn and flower beds as well as a patio with bistro set. Parking available for two cars. Information correct at time of writing. With three local pubs on your doorstep in the village and just a few miles from Burford often referred to as the gateway to the Cotswolds, this house is the perfect choice for those looking for rural seclusion but not complete isolation. The neighbouring village is home to the excellent The Hare which features within Giles Corens top 100; and with popular Daylesford Organic also nearby, this house is well suited to those who enjoy sampling local ales and fresh, local produce; often very welcome after exploring the myriad of local walking and cycling routes. Adjacent to the Wychwood National Nature Reserve, this area is also blessed with things to do. The Cotswold hotspots of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within easy striking distance. Oxford is just over 20 miles away and closer still is Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. Other local attractions include the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Bibury Trout Farm and many National Trust Houses and Gardens such as Chastleton House The pull-out trundle bed in the single bedroom is available on request (small additional charge).
