Description

Family room with shower/bathtub/toilet on the floor The space Attic (2nd floor), parquet floor, a spacious, bright room with 3 roof windows. 2 separate beds and a pull-out couch (lying area 140 x 195); 6 corner table with chairs, bathroom (shower, bath, 2 basins, toilet) on the floor (2 steps over the hallway). The room has proven itself as a short-term accommodation (1-4 days) for families with 1-3 children or as a holiday home for 2-3 adults. An extra bed (air bed 1.00 x 2.00 m) as well as a baby bed (0.60 x 1.20 m) are available. On the 1st floor there is also a large kitchen/dining room with a table for max. 6 people and a large balcony with a dining table and lots of flowers and Mediterranean plants where breakfast is served in the tourist season. The balcony is available to all B&B guests, the kitchen can be used in consultation with the hostess for tea and coffee preparation or for warming baby food. The language pension is located in the main town of Oberrotweil in the wine-growing town of Vogtsburg in the middle of the wine-growing and recreation region "Kaiserstuhl". It consists of 2 houses: a renovated old building (the Alte Winzerhaus) and a new building (B&B guesthouse) built on the site of the former barn at the back of the yard. Both houses are just a few meters away from each other and connected to each other on the first floor by a large balcony. Breakfast is served on the balcony in summer. Between the houses is a courtyard green with numerous pot and bucket plants, where the guests of the apartment have their outdoor seating area. The nearest restaurant is 200 m, the nearest bakery 200 m, the nearest supermarket 300 m the nearest church (Catholic) 200 m, the nearest train station 700 m from the language board. In two minutes walking you are in the vineyards. One kilometer away is the Oberrotweiler swimming pool, 3 km the Burgheim swimming lake, also 3 km the Rhine, 25 km the Black Forest. Larger cities in the region are Breisach am Rhein (9 km), Freiburg im Breisgau (25 km), Colmar (France/25 km), Strasbourg (France/70 km), Basel(Switzerland/70 km). With the Konus guest card, which all guests receive for their tourist tax, you can explore the entire Black Forest and the Upper Rhine area by public transport at no additional cost. The Kaiserstuhl is a small mountain range (an extinct volcano) that rises in the middle of the Upper Rhine plain in the attractive Breisgau. The Breisgau - and there especially the Kaiserstuhl - is the warmest region in Germany. Not only vineyards grow here, but also cherries, strawberries, peaches, apricots, almonds and figs and in the spring the asparagus. Not all of the guests who visit the language board have already heard of the Kaiserstuhl and many who come here for the first time are surprised by the scenic charm of this small mountain range. But the Kaiserstuhl has a reputation that extends beyond local borders: it owes it to the peculiarities of its nature, the friendly openness of its inhabitants and of course its excellent white and red Burgundy wines and its tasty cuisine, which harmonizes perfectly with them. Many love him and visit him again and again. The cultural and economic center in the Breisgau is Freiburg (220,000 inhabitants) with its 1455 founded university, which is one of the oldest in Germany. The Fribourg landmark is the Gothic Münster, whose 116 m high tower was praised as the "most beautiful tower of Christendom" and the picturesque old town with narrow alleys and the typical Freiburg "Bächle". The whole Breisgau region has a high recreational value and enjoys an excellent reputation among visitors from at home and abroad. The Rhine invites you to excursions by ship, Altrheine and lakes to boat trips, water sports and bathing pleasure, the Black Forest for winter sports. Almost everywhere you can hike and cycle, eat well and enjoy the Baden wine. And easily in one day you can reach numerous other attractive excursion destinations in Germany, France and Switzerland. In addition to "vacation like a visit to good friends", the language board also offers its guests the opportunity to discover their creative side on the decorative saw - a 3-hour taster course is already available for €20 per nose. International guests get a free trial lesson "German as a foreign language" if interested. By the way, the communication with the host works in any case: except for German, she speaks fluent English, not perfect, but sufficient Russian and a unfortunately quite rusty French - and in case of need we talk with hands and feet. During your stay Dear guest, glad you found your way to us before you start your journey, we will tell you a little bit about us. We act as an intermediary agency and are therefore not your direct host. We support the active communication between you and your host by sharing the contact details after booking and of course we will be happy to answer all your questions. Nothing stands in the way of your stay. Your Lohospo Team
