La Casa de La Duquesa: El Pajar room.

The room in the house of La Duquesa is located in the ARRIBES DEL DUERO NATURAL PARK half an hour from Zamora and on the border with Portugal. It's in the small town of Zafara. IDEAL FOR FAMILIES!!! The visitor can enjoy a typical village house in a very quiet environment. Very few inhabitants. Forests of holm oaks and oaks, riverbanks... At night you can enjoy a starry sky along with the sound of owls. The space The space has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a large bathroom with a shower. If there is a reservation for 2 people but you want to use both rooms because you do not want to sleep in the same room, the guest would have to book for 3 people since they will use both rooms. Downstairs is the living room with the fireplace, the kitchen and the bathroom with a large shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, quite spacious and with beautiful views. The house has a very large patio which can be enjoyed individually. The visitor can enjoy the countryside and great landscapes of the ARRIBES. You can take a boat ride on the Douro, go canoeing, and visit mills. Visit the prestigious Hacienda Unamuno winery and taste its wines. Children will enjoy watching the Zamoran donkeys and going to the ponds to see the frogs. You can enjoy the local cuisine and visit some cheese factories and wineries. If you wish, you can bring BICYCLES and take walks in the area. If the visitor wishes, they can order loaf bread or donuts made in the village bakery for breakfast, paying the small amount of what it costs. It is also possible to order very good homemade potato omelette, pizzas, chorizo from the area and cheese with designation of origin from the neighboring town.
