Private and clean A-frame on quiet northern lake

Beautiful A-frame cottage on quiet and clean Lake Legrou. Waterfront lake access, large deck, BBQ and fire pit. TV on site that plays DVDs, Bluray discs and USBs. Full kitchen. Bedding and towels provided. In addition to the the three rooms in the cottage, there is a bunkie with two beds and a washroom beside it. Bring your own beach towels. food, coffee, and drinking water. WiFi, 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, a pedal boat and Bongo Water Bouncer are available for your use. No guests permitted. The space This place is very special to our family. My great-grandparents cleared the plot in the early 60’s and together with my grandparents they built the cottage by hand in the years to follow. My mother and her siblings, and my sisters and cousins were all raised spending all of our vacations here. For us, it is ideal! Because the cottage is surrounded by crown land, the forests and lakes are free to explore. The adventures are endless! The kitchen and bathroom have been updated, but the cottage still holds all of its original hand-made charm. A perfect place to reconnect with your family and friends, and enjoy the beauty and fun of nature. Guest access The cottage sits on a half acre of land which includes the quiet waterfront, the front yard and fire-pit, a large deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, and plenty of space for parking in the back. Something unique about this place is that our lake (Legrou) is the last lake connected in a series of 5 lakes. Ours was the last to be inhabited by people, and still is vastly wild. It is not uncommon to see wildlife passing through the yard. Crown land surrounds the lake on the east and north sides, as well as behind the road to the south and west, so it is all free to explore at your leisure. You could spend hours hiking and exploring the little lakes beyond our cottage (but don’t get lost!) Other things to note Please note: This cottage has a fragile septic system!
