This large 5 bedroom home was built in the 1700's and recently completely remodelled. It is on the property of Österby Gård, where the main house was built in 1895 inspired by an Italian castle. Österby Gård, was a wedding present given to the heir of Hedensö castle, one of two other castles located on Näshulta lake. The views of the lake are simply beautiful and the birds and nature lovely. Walking/running trails are nearby and a cute local cafe and even fine dining in the area. Guest access Guests have access to their own back yard, private dock, lake, football goal area, row boat, sauna house and trampoline. Other things to note Näshulta is small town with population 1000. Eskilstuna is 20 min away, with a population of 100,000 and has cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping, museums and a mall. For children there is Eskilstuna Zoo nearby and indoor playhalls, bowling halls and padel court halls. There is also a great indoor pool with slides, and adventures. Stockholm is approx. 1 hour and 40 min. away by car or 1 hour train ride from Eskilstuna. Julita, 25 min away has Nordic Museums's Julita Gård, with a manor, park, gardens and cafe to visit. There are many other castles and points of interest in the area.
