Creek Side Mountain Home- Yosemite & Bass Lake

Our mountain home offers modern comforts and the relaxing sound of Lewis creek flowing through the backyard. The space The Creek Side Mountain House is ideally located near Yosemite's South Entrance and Bass Lake. Check-in & Check-out: The Check-in and Check-out times are not negotiable. What is Provided: Linens, Towels, Toilet paper, cookware, coffee pot, dish soap. What is Not Provided: Shampoo, Toiletries, Spices/Condiments, Food. Rooms: The house is a 3 bed, 2 bath (sleeps 8) with an open floor plan and lots of windows, making it comfortable and relaxing for 8 to hang out in a common area. The living room has a 55” Roku-enabled smart TV + DVD setup, comfy couches, and board games. The kitchen is large and fully equipped (has dishwasher). There is air conditioning/heat and washer/dryer in the house and a new tankless water heater. The Master bedroom has a private bathroom, a large walk-in closet, a queen bed, 42” Roku-enabled smart TV and a couch. There is another room with a queen bed and recliner. The bunkroom sleeps 4 with a full/twin bunk setup and an additional twin bed. Guest access Seasonal swim hole located ~5 minute walk from the house. Go to the Yosemite Forks Estates resident/guest park and walk to the back of the park along the creek until you get to the sandbar/swim hole. Bass Lake is 5 miles (10 minutes) Southeast of this home. There, you will find restaurants/bars, boat rentals, hiking, biking, swimming and (depending on water levels in the lake) beaches. The South entrance to Yosemite National Park is 13 miles (25 minutes) North of this home. Average drive time into the heart of Yosemite Valley (where Yosemite Village is located) from the South entrance is around 1 hour. In addition to the amazing hiking and climbing in Yosemite, during the summer, there are tube/raft rentals in the park so you can float through the valley on the Merced River. Very fun! Yosemite also has restaurants, gift shops, and free shuttle service within the valley. Downtown Oakhurst is a small town with most amenities. It is ~8 minute drive from the house. Nedler Giant Tree Grove is ~40 minute scenic drive from house. Shuteye Ridge (Sierra National Forest) high sierra lakes, hikes, and climbing are ~40 minute scenic drive from house. Other things to note Don’t forget to bring your favorite toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, hair brush, etc.)
