Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio. The space Airy & bright studio with private entrance on 2nd floor of 1902 Victorian house. Large private deck overlooking the Androscoggin River. Comfy queen size futon-bed, Roku TV, fully-supplied kitchenette, coffee bar, dinette set and large bathroom with full bath, built-in cabinetry & closet for clothes storage. Guest access Located on Main Street, walk to restaurants, shops and some trails. Ample parking on driveway. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Located on Main Street, DAILY TRAFFIC CAN BE HEARD, including logging trucks. During high tourist season of late spring through October, ATVs and motorcycles are common during daylight hours. Nights are quiet . PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ATVS.
