Relax in a comfortable home, with beautiful views of Swifts Bay. Lots of light indoors and great outside spaces on the deck and beach. Up to date stainless appliances. Kitchen fully furnished and living room wood stove. Tons of books and games to enjoy for all ages. Located about 3 miles from the ferry dock and 3 miles from Lopez Village. Mooring buoy, 12 foot aluminum boat, and kayaks available. Great bicycling, kayaking, walking and campfires on the beach await. The entire house is available for guests. The open design of living room, dining room and kitchen makes for comfortable visiting. The bedrooms offer private spaces for guests as well. Guests will have access to the whole house. We won't be available in person but have an on-island manager that can handle any emergencies that arise. We will be available via phone/text if you have questions. The house is located on low bank waterfront with easy access to the beach and water. The large deck offers the opportunity for outside dining when weather permits. The beach has a campfire pit for enjoying beach fires while stargazing. Lopez village is approximately 3 miles from the house. Here you will find restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail establishments. Spencer Spit State Park is close - a walk on the beach brings you there. The ferry dock is about 3 miles away as well making the location very convenient. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the house including deer, herons, eagles, hummingbirds, seals and otters. Lopez is very easy to get around by car and bike. Walking and hiking opportunities can be found all over the island. Also fires apparently are not allowed on the beach but is allowed in the designated fire pit right at the beginning of the beach on the property. The upstairs bathroom is VERY small and anyone other than a small person will struggle to shower, or even walk in part of it. The deck facing the water was the highlight. We enjoyed meals out there, and watching the stars come out. Parking is interesting. Driveway is a steep slope. Hope there isn't a major rainstorm or have good tires to get out. Lopez Village was only a 5 minute car ride away from the house so even though you seem pretty isolated there was everything you could need right around the corner. Upstairs bed was not comfortable, mattress pad dirty & sheets torn. No curtains or blinds on upstairs windows. No hand soap in either bathroom. Very unsanitary! Kitchen sink & drainer very dirty! Kitchen needs a good scrubbing dishwasher to! Bathrooms need a thorough cleaning as well! Manager Response: We are sorry to hear that your stay was anything short of perfect.
