The Coo Shed at South Barlogan Farm, is a bright & spacious cottage set in a beautiful rural location. Self contained with an outside seating area/BBQ, ideal for relaxing outside. 15mins to Glasgow Airport, 25mins - Loch Lomond, 20mins to Glasgow city. 7miles to Lochwinnoch/Castle Semple/Muirshiel Country Park. Surrounded by open fields and close to cycle paths & lovely walks. 3min drive to the stunning Knapps Loch. The villages of Bridge of Weir & Kilmacolm are 1mile away with many restaurants. The space The Coo Shed has a real focus on luxury, with an elegant open-plan living space which includes a modern fully fitted kitchen, equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer & washing machine, a dining area, a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, all on one level and very airy and bright. Outside you will find a lovely sitting area, with table & chairs and a wooden picnic table. There is a tree swing and an undercover play area with a climbing frame, swing, slide and seesaw for children. Ideal for those not so nice days. Children can get the opportunity to feed the chickens, meet the cats, dogs, ponies and Alpacas. The open plan living space and bedroom arrangements are spacious for up to six people, accommodating a wide range of guests from couples, families and groups of friends. There are two other accommodation units on the farm if your party size exceeds 6. The Coo Shed is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay and relax. The wood-burning stove can be ready for you so that autumn/winter breaks are warm and welcoming (on request). A travel cot and high chair are available for complimentary use. Free WiFi is available along with flat-screen television. Books, jigsaws and board games for adults and children. For those guests with an appetite for an active break, the country parks and estates of Finlaystone, Castle Semple, Ingliston and Glennifer are close by and ideal locations. The Knapps Loch is one mile away from the farm and offers wonderful walks and scenery. Guest Check in 3pm, check out 11am (we can be flexible if bookings allow). Guest access At the 'Coo Shed' you have your own outside seating area and if you would like to meet our horses/Alpacas/cats/dogs and chickens, please say and we are more than happy to take you to meet them. Chances are the dogs, cats & chickens will come and say hello anyway! Other things to note An extensive cleaning regime is carried out by professional cleaners between each guest stay. Laundry is provided/cleaned by a professional laundrette. The track to the farm can sometimes be a little bumpy, so if you have a low slung car.. please drive slowly!
