Lakefront cabin in Parsonsfield, ME on West Pond. 6+ acres on 50 ft of waterfront with private dock. It is the last house on a dead end road providing a true serene location to relax and embrace Mother Nature. Great for fishing and water sports in the summer or ice fishing/skating and snowmobiling in the winter. There is two outdoor fire pits and plenty of parking for friends and family. Our cabin sleeps 14 people comfortably. The space Our lakefront cabin in Parsonsfield Maine is located on West Pond. We own 6+ acres on 50 ft of waterfront with a private dock and 8x16 float. Our cabin is the last house on a dead end road providing a true serene location to relax and embrace Mother Nature. It sleeps 14 people with 8 twin size bunk beds and 1 queen futon bed in an open concept, a queen bed in an open upstairs loft with sitting area and a master suite with queen bed and master bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked to enjoy family meals or fire up the grill outside for a cookout. On a rainy day, you can enjoy the wrap around porch or stay indoors to watch movies. We provide a wide selection of DVDs or stream movies from our TV. In addition to DVD movies, we provided fun family games to create lasting memories. Monopoly is one of our favorites or a family tradition of cribbage. All linens and towels are supplied and updated to get a good nights rest. The cabin is kept clean and a cleaning crew turns it over for each exchange. West Pond is great for fishing and water sports in the summer. If you love winter, ice fishing, ice skating, and snowmobiling are also a possibility. In the warmer months, we provide a canoe, paddle-board, and kayaks to explore the water. West Pond is very clean and great for swimming or relaxing in a float. Long Pond is a sister pond within walking distance and open to the public if you want to explore more waterfront. There are many hiking trails nearby or you can explore our trails right behind our cabin. At night, our oversized outdoor fire pits, one next to the cabin and one next to the water, are great for cooking s'mores or telling campfire stories. There is plenty of parking for all guests or extra space to play some outdoor games like corn hole. Our cabin is one of our favorite places to bond with family and we would love to share our hidden gem in Maine. Other things to note The cabin layout has a very open feel to it, meaning the loft, the bunk rooms, and the living rooms are all open without doors. The bathrooms however, are completely private with doors. The cabin sits 300 feet from the private deck, dock, and float with 50 feet of private lakefront. It is a 45 second walk from the house. Our wish is when you leave, you are already starting to think about your next stay with us. Perhaps even during a different season as the fall and winter here are just as amazing.
